The Experiment Explained (CLICK HERE)

Have you ever seen the movie Super Size Me??  It is about a guy who decides to eat only food from McDonald’s for every meal for 30 days.  It shows his journey, what he eats, and how he has changed (for the worst) in just 30 days.  It shows how sick he becomes and how much weight he puts on.  It is actually pretty disgusting to watch.  I have decided to take a 30 day challenge in the exact opposite way.  I am going to embark on a 30 day unprocessed food experiment.  For 30 days, I am going to only consume fresh, whole unprocessed food.  It will include fruits, vegetables, some raw nuts and seeds, and some superfood supplements.  I am going to log everything I eat each day, and give nutritional info for the day.  This is not going to be easy for me and even if I slip up I will post it!!  I know that there are people out there who eat like this all the time, and I admire them.  My goal is to do this for 30 days and hopefully continue at 90% after the 30 days are through.  I am chosing to do this for health, weight loss, energy, and vibrancy.  I would like to see how many changes can occur in a 30 day period of eating only fresh, whole foods…otherwise known as raw foods.

do you happen to have a grocery/shopping list?

    • I don’t really write down a grocery list, I usually just stock up on whatever fruit/veggies that are on sale for the week. I plan on posting on my other blog what I buy on a weekly basis for my family, but I just haven’t gotten around to it yet.

Hey there Samantha! I was wondering if you have ever heard of Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar? Their website is bragg.com and I have tried all but one of the flavored vinegar drinks. They also have lots of other things…Olive oil, liquid aminos (like soy sauce), Sprinkle (organic seasoning with 24 herbs and spices – very good). You can sign up for free samples too to try before you buy. I love and only use the liquid aminos now…less sodium than even light soy sauce. I also just purchased their braggzymes (capsules that you take between meals).

    • Hi Erin! I have heard of Bragg’s!! I love the apple cider vinegar and use it all the time!! I have not used the other products though, but I am sure they are amazing as well!! I keep meaning to try the liquid aminos, but haven’t yet! Thanks for the tip!!
