Day 5 and 6….

Day 5 I spent the day with 2 great friends and our 8 kids between the 3 of us!!!  We had a blast and so did our kids but I was weakened by my kryptonite!!!

Day 5 I ate:

  • Smoothie made with coconut water, cherries, raspberries, and bananas
  • almonds
  • salad with mixed greens, cukes, peppers from my garden, apple, pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, and a greek style dressing
  • *****KRYPTONITE****Iced soy caramel Latte from Starbucks-yes, I fell prey to my weakness
  • superfood ice cream made with ice, lucuma, maca, mesquite, vanilla powder, agave, carob powder, cacao powder, and sunflower seed butter
  • fresh raspberries

Day 6 I ate:

  • Fresh squeezed orange juice with chia seeds made by my dear hubby
  • almonds and green tea
  • rice chips
  • smoothie made with bananas, raspberries and strawberries
  • salad with mixed greens and dressing

Day 4…..

Still going……

Today I ate:

  • Smoothie with coconut water, a whole container of blueberries, 2 bananas, vanilla, and a little agave
  • almonds and a few dried cranberries
  • green tea
  • Matcha tea
  • 1 whole english cucumber, tomatoes from my garden, a little raw cheese, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sea salt
  • mixed baby greens, peppers, tomatoes, cukes, and dressing
  • raspberries, strawberries, and honeydew

Day 3……

Today I ate:

  • Smoothie made with raspberries, bananas, cocoa powder, coconut water, and stevia
  • almonds and green tea
  • greek salad (pictured) lettuce, cukes, sprouts, peppers, tomatoes, a homemade “cashew cheeze” and homemade dressing
  • Matcha Latte
  • smoothie made with coconut milk, bananas, almond butter, agave, cocoa powder, maca, lucuma, mesquite, and vanilla powder
  • watermelon

Day 2…..

6529_1076057873198_1578751616_30184057_2625926_nLast night my Lil Sis (15 year difference-yes, I am old!!) stayed the night at my house we stayed up and watched a movie and then talked until 2 am!!!  My kids both woke up several times during the night (between 3am and 5am)and my son was awake and bright eyed by 7am!!!  My sis stayed with me all day and ate my “healthy food” -we had some fun!!!!!

Today I ate:

  • Fresh squeezed orange juice blended with bananas and ice then mixed with chia seeds and bee pollen
  • almonds and green tea with stevia
  • Greek Salad made with Romaine, sprouts, cukes, tomatoes, banana peppers, organic Kalamata olives, “cashew cheeze”, and my homemade dressing
  • watermelon lemonade
  • Matcha Latte
  • Chlorella nuts and goji berries
  • superfood ice cream made with lucuma, maca, mesquite powders, vanilla powder, carob powder, cacao, stevia, almond butter and tons of ice
  • dehydrated flax crackers with smashed avocado and fresh lime
  • green juice made with Rainbow Chard from my garden, apples, and limes

I feel like this was a lot of food for one day and way too many nuts!!!  Oh well, tomorrow is a new day!!!  :)))

It Feels Good!!!

Wow, today was amazing!!!  It feels so good to be eating this way again and it really seemed easier this time around (well, at least for today!)

Today I enjoyed:

  • watermelon lemonade
  • 1/2 cup honeydew because that is all that was left
  • almonds-yes, oh yes they were calling my name
  • huge greek like salad made with Romaine lettuce, cukes, tomatoes from my garden, banana peppers, dulse, homemade “cashew cheeze” ( I made this to be similar to Feta Cheese) and a Greek Vinaigrette
  • Matcha Latte made with Matcha tea, stevia, and Hemp milk
  • green tea with stevia
  • chocolate cherry smoothie
  • Kombucha with blue green-algae, spirulina, and chlorella
  • chlorella nuts and goji berries

It was all delicious and I am full and happy!!!  I really hope to start posting pics of what I eat soon…..let me know if this is something that would be of interest to anyone!!!!

I’m Back!!!!

fruit2Hello everyone!!!  It has been awhile and I have not been 100% raw since July 1st!!!  It has been a roller coaster and even though I have maintained high raw I have definitely strayed.  My kryptonites being rice/corn tortilla chips with salsa or guac and my biggest being COFFEE with soy creamer and stevia or the occasional Venti Iced Caramel Soy Latte from the notorious Starbucks.

Well, to be perfectly honest I just feel “blah” compared to how I felt during my 30 days raw.   I notice such a difference in every aspect of my life-so I am going back!!!  I am going to try to blog everyday at least what I have eaten, it helps me to stay on track, occasionally I will post caloric info.  I hope to go into this strong and so if you would like to join me even if only for a few days it would be awesome!!!
