Days 28 and 29….

Day 28 I ate:

  • smoothie made with almond milk, almond butter, ground flax, cocoa powder, and bananas
  • huge salad from East Side Mario’s (restaurant)
  • Salad with sprouts and sunflower seeds
  • watermelon

Day 29 I ate:

  • smoothie made with bananas, cherries, cocoa powder, water
  • cashews, pistachios, almond mix
  • watermelon
  • Macha Latte’ from Zerbo’s health food store it is made from a green tea, hemp milk, and agave….it was yummy!!!
  • Kombucha (fermented tea)
  • watermelon
  • 1 tbsp. sunflower seed butter

Days 26 and 27…..

Day 26 I ate:

  • Green Smoothie made with fresh orange juice, strawberries, bananas, and Swiss Chard from my garden
  • Juice from watermelon and lemons
  • Honeydew with blueberries
  • green tea
  • Teecino with almond milk
  • cashew/date ball
  • Smoothie made with water, cherries, bananas, cocoa powder
  • Lara Bar- cashews/dates
  • Iced tea

Day 27 I ate:

  • Green smoothie same as day 26
  • apple
  • 2 huge plates of fruit salad
  • sunflower seeds
  • more fruit salad

Day 25….

Today I ate:

  • Smoothie made with water, bananas, almond butter, cocoa powder, lucuma powder, maca powder, and mesquite powder
  • Fresh squeezed orange juice with bee pollen and chia seeds
  • trail mix of cashews, almonds and pistachios
  • 3 mangos diced and 2 bananas sliced drizzled with coconut cream
  • green tea

Days 23 and 24….

Yesterday and today are going to be combined again!!!  I have been so busy!!!    So yesterday I ate:

  • Fresh coconut water mixed with VitaMineral Green (Green Powder)
  • 2 apples diced up topped with sunflower seed butter mixed with maca, lucuma, and mesquite powder
  • Green tea
  • Vanilla-Banana milk made with water, bananas, vanilla, and agave
  • LaraBar (raw food bar made with cashews and dates)
  • Kombucha (fermented tea drink-shared a little with some friends!!)
  • watermelon
  • Teecino with almond milk

Today we went to the wave pool/waterpark…..I got burned, but we had lots of fun!!!

I ate:

  • Smoothie made with water, blueberries, bananas, and hemp protein powder
  • Salad from a restaurant with lettuce, cucumbers, strawberries, cashews, carrots, and raspberry vinaigrette dressing
  • huge 4 pound fruit tray that we bought at Meijer’s it had strawberries, watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, blueberries, and pineapple (this we all ate from)
  • another big bowl of watermelon purchased from Meijers (we all ate from this too)
  • Smashed avocado with sea salt and cayenne….I used some rice chips to dip….these were not raw, but I only used a few
  • green tea
  • almonds and cranberries

Still looking for some friends to join me for a day or two!!!

Day 22…..

I weighed myself today and I am down 5 more pounds for a total of 12.6 pounds in 22 days!!!  When I woke up I did some weight training….I squatted 60 lbs!!!  Okay, so maybe that is not a lot for some of you but it is a lot for me!!!  I also walked up and down four flights of stairs, and took a four mile bike ride with my family!!!!   I brought my mom home from the hospital and took care of her, so again I wasn’t home for most of the day which resulted in eating minimally.

Today I ate:

  • Smoothie made with water, bananas, cocoa powder, stevia and a pint of blueberries
  • Green Juice made from Chard from my garden, limes and apples
  • watermelon
  • green tea
  • 1 cashew/date ball
  • Kale from my garden dipped into some smashed avocado with cayenne and sea salt
  • Salad with mixed lettuces, cucumbers, pepper, vinaigrette, and sprouts
  • homemade ice cream made from coconut meat, cocoa powder, and agave
  • almonds and dried cranberries

Days 20 and 21…..

I have to admit it has been a trying couple of days, I am feeling a bit depressed and wondering whether or not to continue this experiment.   I have been doing some thinking and it seems to live this way is VERY difficult in social situations!!!  I could find nothing to eat at the hospital cafeteria, I ended up at Red Robin with family and had to sit and watch everyone eat.   This was discouraging, I thought I would get a salad but it was $10.99 and by the time I minused all of the bacon, cheese, chicken, and croutons, I would have been paying for a bowl of lettuce!!!  No thanks!!!  Afterwards, I went to Meijer and bought a 2 pound bowl of cut up fruit for under $4.00…now that is more like it.  Today, my family got together for Father’s Day and ordered pizza…I wanted to eat like everyone else, but I brought some watermelon to eat while everyone stuffed their faces!!!!  I did not weigh in today – I am scared because I have been eating so many nuts this week!!!!  So I hope to get back to a normal week this week with workouts and some better eating choices.

Yesterday I ate:

  • Smoothie with bananas, almond butter, cocoa powder, coconut water
  • green tea
  • Iced tea from Red Robin
  • almonds and cashews throughout the day
  • 2 pound bowl of fresh watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew

yes, this is all I ate yesterday….

Today I had:

  • Smoothie with bananas, almond butter, cocoa powder, coconut water
  • salad with sprouts, pea shoots, broccoli slaw, cucumbers. and vinaigrette dressing
  • green tea
  • watermelon
  • honeydew melon
  • cashews
  • Teecino with almond milk

Day 19….

Today I spent the entire day at the hospital again with my mom, she is doing better now so we are out of the valley and heading up the hill!!!!  I feel like I have eaten so many nuts over the last few days and barely any fruit and I can feel the difference!!!!  I am worried about weigh in tomorrow!!!

Today I ate:

  • Smoothie made with 2 bananas, cherries, cocoa powder, maca, lucuma, mesquite powder, coconut water, ice
  • 2 apples dipped in almond butter
  • green tea
  • almonds
  • salad with banana peppers and vinaigrette dressing
  • LaraBar made with cashews and dates
  • Teecino drink with stevia and almond milk
  • cashews

No stats for the day, I will start that again for tomorrows post…..I would not want to see the fat for today though!!!!  Seriously, I know nuts are a good fat but I consumed way too many!!!
